Goodbye Yellow School…Hello Sope Creek Elementary!

We had great weather to celebrate the end of Maysie's preschool days at Mt. Bethel Preschool.  Miss Libbie and Miss Chantele had the cutest class and I know Maysie is going to miss them and all of the friends she made this year.

Love this picture of the girls in her class…and Townsend photobombed the picture!

And finally it was time for graduation.  See the diplomas they are holding?  Maysie decided to use hers as a telescope then proceeded to straighten out the ribbon on it and lick it.  All while they were posing for pictures. Nice.

Kindergarten, here comes Maysie!

Maysie's 5th Birthday

Four pictures.  That is all I managed to capture of Maysie's 5th birthday.  And the birthday girl was only in two of them.

But the celebration was everything Maysie had hoped for and I made the best decision of the year to have it at Champion Kids instead of our house.

Maysie and her bestie Mia...
Railey has turned into such great helper and bounced between Lauren and Ansley almost the entire party.

Just in case the fact that I only took four pictures at the party doesn't explain to you how "gracefully" I am handling the end of year chaos, this family picture should sum it up.

Last Day of Second Grade

To say that the kids were excited for the last day of school would be an understatement…I think that the parents were equally as excited to be finished with the early morning wake up call to catch the bus.

The ice cream truck made it again this year and there is no telling how many times each kid went up to visit.

Hello Summer!!!!

Mill's Monkeys End of Year Celebration

With a few days left in the school year, we all gathered to celebrate Ms. Mills Monkeys.  We will miss this sweet class.

I think that there were only 5 girls in the class!

Can you see Ms. Mills sandwiched in the middle.  Such an AMAZING year!

The Temper Tantrum

Before I start this post, it is important for me to point out that Ansley is truly a GREAT baby.  BUT, everyone has their moments and she is no exception.  I am not sure what it was that set her off, but she got mad.  And since she is baby number three I ignored her and grabbed my camera.

I just had to document these for blackmail down the road...

Maysie's Ballet Recital

The school year is finally coming to an end which means that Maysie had her ballet recital.  She seemed to enjoy performing more than last year which is a good thing because in the Fall she is enrolled in Hip Hop classes…

Jane and John came in town for the performance!

We love our ballerina girl!

Zac Brown Band in Alpharetta!

Lucky for us, ZBB was playing two shows about 20 minutes away in Alpharetta so the girls got to invite their friends to see Daddy hard at work!

We got there early so they could take a tour onstage.  They were impressed with the new stage design but wanted to get back to the bus for more important things...

More important things like seeing Uncle Stork and playing with water balloons.

We got to our seats and finally got everyone settled in to watch the show.

Maysie asked at least 1,000 times to go back and see Daddy, but managed to forget all about going backstage when she found Miss Becky.

Sweet Aunt Elena also attempted to distract Maysie…

It was an amazing night and these girls made it until the second to last song.  IMPRESSIVE!

The highlight of the night was when we were walking back to our seats and the girls started gathering confetti to throw in the air.  It's the little things.

Sarah got to spend the night after and was so patient with Maysie…even when she crawled in bed with her in the middle of the night:)

Night number two was reserved for mama and her friends, but we had to take Celie on a little backstage tour during the day since she wasn't available the night before.

Only one picture was taken night number two…but this pretty much sums it up.  Taking the fur bus home at the end of the night!
