Spring Break Part Two - Zac Brown Band in Ft. Lauderdale

Lucky for us, it turned out that ZBB was playing in South Florida at the end of our Spring Break so it was the perfect excuse to go to the show to see Daddy and to visit with the cousins in Ft. Lauderdale.  Thank goodness my mother offered to take Ansley so I could have some quality time with the big girls…otherwise this trip would not have been possible.

We got off the plane in Ft. Lauderdale and a couple of hours later loaded up to head to Amanda and Dave's condo in Islamorada for some playing on the beach and SWIMMING WITH DOLPHINS!  The girls were excited..to say the least.

Early Saturday morning, we went to Theater of the Sea for our dolphin encounter.

The girls patience was wearing thin when we had to sit through a 20 minute presentation before going into the water.

But, it was well worth the wait.

After the show we walked around the park until we decided it was time to go and get a drink head back to the condo pool to relax.

After two fun filled days in the Keys, it was time to go back to Ft. Lauderdale.  But not before we made a run to the beach and swam in the pool.  Amanda's father, also known as "the other Poppy," took us to breakfast.  As you can see, the girls ADORE him!

The beach trip was cut a little short by a jellyfish sting, but we made it nonetheless.

Finally it was time for the concert, but before we could go we sent David and Claire off to the Daddy Daughter dance.

The girls loved every minute of the music and fun on the beach while we waited for Claire to get there.

Maysie is going to be the "concert snob" of my three girls.  She has no interest in hanging out in the crowd, but prefers backstage.  Who can blame her when you get to see Stewart and pet police dogs?!?

The theme of the night was that drunk people LOVE to talk to kids.  We had people that were offering to pick the girls up to see Band Perry better, others that included them in a jumbo side beer pong game, and tons of high fives throughout the night. The girls felt like celebrities.

Just like our last trip to see the cousins, so much fun!
