Easter Pictures

This past week, Stacey asked if I wanted to come over to get some pictures taken with the kids and some real chicks. Being the Superwoman she is, she put up a makeshift photo studio, got 5 baby chicks, all while coordinating her day to day life. So I dug through the Spring/Summer clothes and picked out some outfits and grabbed the Easter baskets from the attic.

For obvious reasons, Maysie was banned from touching the chicks. I figured that I would be answering questions for years if she got a hold of one of them and "loved" it too much. She had no problems hamming it up for the camera though.

All in favor of Stacey starting her own photography business raise your hand!

Easy Come, Easy Go

It turns out that the arborist that came out to look at our house neglected to tell us that three of the trees in our yard were potential "foundation problems." As Paul says, it is what it is! So we invited all of the neighborhood kids over to watch the crane in action and attend the most expensive party I have ever thrown!

Valentine's Day Cards

Imitation is the highest form of flattery right? At least I keep on telling myself that each time I look at the adorable Valentine's Day card I made for Railey. I wish I were this creative and could come up with ideas even half as cute as this. Not the case. That is where Garrett comes into the equation. So thank you Garrett, for coming up with great ideas and being gracious enough to let me steal them from you. Original picture

After taking the picture, assembling and addressing all of the envelopes, I realized that I didn't do anything for sweet Maysie. Even though she isn't in school yet, we took a quick picture to send to all of the family members....

Okay Garrett, so what is "my" idea for next year's card?!?
