Caught Ya Jar

Since I am always trying to come up with new strategies for Railey to "do the right thing," Ansley gave me an idea that I couldn't pass up.  The "Caught Ya" jar.

The idea is simple...when I overhear, see or I am told of Railey using her manners, treating her sister well, doing well on her schoolwork, cleaning up without being asked, etc. she gets a marble.  The marble goes into her "caught ya" jar and when it is filled, she gets a prize.  Usually something simple that she has been wanting, but sometimes we have to take a trip to the store:)

It is working wonders and has made this mama focus on all of the positives rather than punishing the negative!
