Coolest Mom on the Block
Nope, not me. Not even close. The coolest mom on the block is, without a doubt, Stacey DeMartini. In addition to feeding me dinner for the FOURTH time this week, Stacey decided that she wanted to set up a mini photo shoot in her backyard and let the kids play with paint. And I am beginning to find out, that when Stacey comes up with an idea, she really does it right.
Before I would let Railey get close to the paint, the second coolest mama in the world, Sumry, gave Railey ANOTHER birthday present and I had to get a picture of her wearing it. The back of the shirt reads I LOVE STORK...which is the nickname that Railey gave Stewart. The jury is still out on whether she couldn't understand what his name was or just couldn't pronounce it. Regardless..it stuck. And she LOVES STORK!
I knew that Railey was going to love this painting idea. Not a doubt in my mind. I was right. It all started out so innocent...
And this is probably the point where it all went crazy.
Sara Mays, well she didn't take to the "bathe yourself in paint" idea and chose to watch from afar. But not before she got the tiniest bit of pink paint on her face:)
Love this picture, I am not sure if they are loving on each other or clinging to each other in fear...

Easter Egg Hunt Take Two
Our neighbors invited us over for another Easter egg hunt after the cousins left. It was the perfect distraction for my emotional #1 child. While Daddy hid our eggs, the kids patiently waited inside.
Once the door opened, they were off!
Being the youngest of the group, Maysie was a bit out of her league. But little bit didn't seem to mind. Two minutes into the hunt, she parked herself in the yard and started eating all of the candy from her basket.
Only Liam could convince her to search for more eggs.
Poor poor attempt at a group shot
YAY! Daddy's home!!!

Masters and Easter
Aunt Carol, Crissa, Sara Britton and Hadley came in town to celebrate Easter and go to the Masters. What a tough life I have, Las Vegas to go to the awards show, Mom in town to help with the girls, then Augusta to watch the Masters. I need to read this blog post the next time I am pulling my hair out because I have heard Mommy 500 times by 8:32 a.m..
First order of business, American Girl doll store. Four girls, tea party, mall, what were we thinking? Some of you might remember Maysie was a little bit apprehensive when she met Santa. Unfortunately not much has changed....
Then, we had to dye the Easter eggs. Maysie took her job VERY seriously.
Group picture after the Easter eggs were dyed. Excuse the pajamas...those were the only clothes that we didn't mind getting ruined.
The next day it was me and Crissa's turn to enjoy our day at the Masters. Tutu and Gammy baked a cake with the girls
Then it was Easter Bunny time!!!
The day was a huge success...capped off with a Easter egg hunt just before the family loaded up and headed back to Memphis.
Sara Mays had ZERO interest in pictures...but was quite taken by the candy inside the eggs.
Tutu with her girls...
And Gammy with her girls...
Until next time....when I take the trip to Memphis!
