Thanksgiving 2015

The Chanon family headed to our house in Marietta to celebrate Thanksgiving.  There are TONS of pictures...so bear with me.

Ansley sat at the counter the majority of the week...just happy that people were feeding her and paying attention to her.

All the cousisns posed for a pictures...some happier than others.  Luke and Ansley were napping....we might think about including them next year.

And then it was time to celebrate with a feast that Paul prepared...thank goodness I have a husband that likes to cook.  I just don't have the patience.

The dining room and breakfast room are starting to come together. Still a little bare but at least the light fixtures were up for Thanksgiving.

The kids were excited to get dressed up.  Maysie still hasn't figured out how to dress appropriately for the weather...I have lost my will to argue with her about it.

The next morning the kids decided to harass Uncle Andrew while he was stretching on the floor....what a sport.

And then we decided to go to the zoo!

Jack always keeps me laughing...love him so much.

And then, for the grande finale, we let the kids go into the wind machine.  Poor Jack.

For the record, we finally let him out.

This year, Poppy (Amanda's dad) came to our Thanksgiving celebration.  As you can see, all of the kids adore him.  We were excited when he agreed that he would make it a tradition to come to our house every other year!

Had to include one more picture of my sweet Jack, who is always up for Auntie Shea taking his pictures.

On the Road Again: Tampa

It was going to be hard to beat the concert in Tallahassee, but Tampa didn't disappoint.

About halfway through the show, Paul told me that Taylor Swift's dad was watching the show from "front of house."  We walked out there to meet him.  SUCH a nice guy and in addition to happily posing for a picture with the girls, he gave them some Taylor Swift guitar picks.  Definitely the highlight of their trip!

On the Road Again: Sea World

After the show in Tallahassee, the girls and I left Ansley with Tutu and Poppy and headed down to Tampa and Orlando for the rest of the Florida run.  We decided to take another trip to Sea World while we were down there.

Everything was going so well...the girls were getting along, the weather was perfect and then we went to try the roller coasters.

Not the best idea.  Maysie is scarred for life.

On the Road Again: Zac Brown in Tallahassee

Even though Paul does his best to keep a low profile, it was inevitable that he was going to have the attention on him at least once.  And that is where Kenley comes in.  When we found out the Zac Brown Band was going to be playing in Tallahassee, we had to travel down there to see our sweet Goddaughter Kenley and give her a behind the scenes look at the show.

Kenley didn't disappoint and came with her autograph book in hand.

And of course, she asked for Uncle Paul's autograph first.

We toured the stage....

the buses....

And then it was time for sweet Kenley to go home so Garrett could come out and enjoy the show.

Maysie and Railey stayed to watch the show and when the concert started, Maysie decided that she wanted to watch the show with Uncle Tommy, Tutu and Poppy. About 20 minutes into the show, Mom sent this picture of Maysie laying across all three of their laps....

While they were "babysitting" Maysie, Garrett and I decided to take a little tour during the show.

Not quite sure what is happening in this picture...I am taller than Garrett.

It was so much fun to see ZBB play in my hometown....until next time!
