Skeet Shooting

While we were in Tallahassee, Railey and I went to Claire's house for a little skeet shooting over Lake Jackson.  This was my first time skeet shooting and I was horrible despite all of Dr. Clements' coaching, but it was so much fun.

The girls all talked Claire into a little "off-roading" action.

Post Christmas Fun

Two days after Christmas I loaded up the girls to go to Tallahassee to spend some time with our aunts, uncles and cousins.  The girls were especially excited to see cousin Connor, who lives in South Florida.  Connor had injured his thumb and after being in Tallahassee 20 minutes, Maysie came to me and said she was hurt as well.

We took the kids to  Cascades Park so they could run off some energy and try out the new hoverboard.

Ansley found a slide and was happy to stay as long as we would let her.

I know you are looking at these pictures wondering why I wouldn't pull Ansley's hair back.  Hopefully this picture will appropriately explain Ansley's reaction when I put a bow in and she "isn't in the mood."  Choose your battles.

It was a beautiful day at the park!

The girls couldn't resist but to jump in the pool.  These kids are crazy.

We love our crazy family!

Christmas 2015

I did a horrible job of taking pictures this Christmas.  But we definitely kept busy so thankfully Tutu and Poppy were in town to help keep everything in order!

The favorite gift this year was the hoverboard.

I did try to snap one picture of the girls.  Once again, Ansley wasn't into it.

Until the girls distracted her by playing with her new puzzle.

And just like that, we have a  semi-decent picture of all three girls in their Christmas pajamas!

And, even though it isn't great quality, I had to include this picture of the girls dressed up as angels for the Nativity performance at church on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Card: Behind the Scenes

How lucky am I to have Stacey just down the street to help me with my Christmas card pictures....getting three girls to cooperate is no joke!   Ansley decided to put "Aunt" Stacey to the test!

After more patience (and tears) than I could ever imagine, here is the finished product!

ZBB Holiday Party

One of our favorite Christmas traditions is the ZBB Christmas exchange with all of the kids....and there are a bunch of them.  Ansley decided to dress the part this year.

And once we got to the party, she decided to "babysit" Maia and Ruby.

Dunn's Dominos

Railey continues to love third grade, and I love when I am given the opportunity to help in her class.  The kids loved giving Mr. Dunn a his Christmas present!

They look so OLD!

Meeting Santa: The Breakdown

Ansley isn't a fan of Santa....and Santa isn't so sure of her either.  At least big sisters were on their best behavior.

Once we took the screaming baby away, Railey asked for a drone and a sewing machine and Maysie asked for a bike and science stuff (whatever that means.)  Hopefully he will forgive the behavior of their sister and bring them what they want:)

Thanksgiving 2015

The Chanon family headed to our house in Marietta to celebrate Thanksgiving.  There are TONS of pictures...so bear with me.

Ansley sat at the counter the majority of the week...just happy that people were feeding her and paying attention to her.

All the cousisns posed for a pictures...some happier than others.  Luke and Ansley were napping....we might think about including them next year.

And then it was time to celebrate with a feast that Paul prepared...thank goodness I have a husband that likes to cook.  I just don't have the patience.

The dining room and breakfast room are starting to come together. Still a little bare but at least the light fixtures were up for Thanksgiving.

The kids were excited to get dressed up.  Maysie still hasn't figured out how to dress appropriately for the weather...I have lost my will to argue with her about it.

The next morning the kids decided to harass Uncle Andrew while he was stretching on the floor....what a sport.

And then we decided to go to the zoo!

Jack always keeps me laughing...love him so much.

And then, for the grande finale, we let the kids go into the wind machine.  Poor Jack.

For the record, we finally let him out.

This year, Poppy (Amanda's dad) came to our Thanksgiving celebration.  As you can see, all of the kids adore him.  We were excited when he agreed that he would make it a tradition to come to our house every other year!

Had to include one more picture of my sweet Jack, who is always up for Auntie Shea taking his pictures.
