Low Key Christmas

This year it was just our family of five for Christmas.  Tutu and Poppy were in Virginia helping with baby Cannon and Jane and John were in Florida with Dave and Amanda.  One thing is for sure, I don't take as many pictures when the cousins aren't in town.  But I did manage to capture a couple of shots from the break.

We went to see Santa at Phipps for the 8th year in a row.  Love him!  Railey wanted a rip stick and Maysie wanted an Elsa build a bear.  Ansley just cried.

The Elf on the Shelf was a little temperamental this year.  Maybe because Maysie "accidentally" touched her or maybe because the girls were fighting too much.  But after THREE days of her staying in the same place, Railey had to write a note to ask her to please move to a different spot!

Maysie and Logan.  Do you see how excited she gets when he comes over?!?

And no Christmas would be complete without the kids Christmas exchange.  The group keeps getting bigger and bigger.  Maysie and Railey were home sick so they are missing and there are more babies on the way later this year!

We decided to light East Cobb on fire send up a wish lantern.

And finally, I was able to get a picture of the girls in their PJs on Christmas morning.

 Here's to an AMAZING 2015!!!

Christmas Cards

Not only did Stacey manage to get another adorable shot of all three girls, but she came to the rescue once again with our Christmas cards this year!  Here are a few of the shots that we didn't use…

And the finished product…

Danya's Wedding

I am sure that I am breaking some sort of "blogging code" here, but I can't say it any better than Garrett did on her blog.  And even though I didn't get permission, I feel the need to say that I did at least try to call her to ask before I copied, pasted, and published.

I’m going to Miami

I’m going to Miami
Friends since Kindergarten, we all gathered around our friend as she walked down the aisle for a teary and tender ceremony.
I'm going to Miami
It’s not every day that Missy Elliott is at your reception (along with your friends Pepa, Kim, and Trina– um, she has 1.2 million instagram followers?!).
I'm going to Miami    And then…. we danced.

Such nice friends I have. They say “everyone make an ugly face” and I’m the only one that does.
I'm going to Miami
especially the girl in the purple dress, second from left. She remembered to pack her dancing shoes all right.
I'm going to Miami
Can you guess who is wearing prescription sunglasses?
I'm going to Miami
What? It’s Christmas?

We also perfected the art of “the selfie”— as did everyone else who took on the view of the Miami Beach skyline.

Congratulations, sweet Danya. We are lucky to have friends that have been at every milestone moment for the past 30 years. xo

Make Room For Baby!

It was the perfect Fall day to shower the momma to be Lynn!

Most of the decorations worked out perfectly…except for the ducks in the spiked apple cider.

We swapped old stories, made new memories, and most importantly we gave Lynnie the love and attention that she deserved.

Baby Ansley decided to make her debut about halfway through the shower.

Soon enough we will be showering the next mama to be…Sumry!

Opening gifts was a blast, the Carhartt gear was a HIT!  Boy or girl, this was the perfect choice for the Cline baby.

Brooke came up with the cutest idea of the night.  Check out these adorable rolled up diapers…swaddled with washcloths and little baby socks for hats.  LOVE THIS SO MUCH!

And our little Lauren even came to visit too!

We love you so much Lynn!  You are going to be a fabulous mommy!

Ansley: Ten Months Old

Sweet baby Ansley is ten months old!  She made her Daddy very proud when the first word to come out of her mouth was "dog" followed by "Dada" a few days later.  She is pulling herself up on anything and everything and becoming much more vocal.  No crying but she will let you know if she wants something.  I am beginning to think she is going to look just like Maysie!

I am trying my best to transition from baby food with no success.  Hopefully I will have better news next month….
