Food Truck Night
Tonight we loaded up the girls and went up to Paper Mill Village for Food Truck Night. About 6 food trucks gather in the parking lot and people come to listen to music and visit.
Little Miss Picky Railey decided that, rather than the food trucks, she wanted to get a burger at a restaurant in the village...and wouldn't you know it, her boyfriend/husband/neighbor/classmate Buie was there. Railey was in heaven. Mommy was too....it turns out they serve wine.
While Railey was playing with her main squeeze, Maysie opted to clean the outdoor chalkboard.
After leaving the restaurant and getting the girls cupcakes, our next door neighbors showed up...Railey took turns chasing Buie and dancing with her best friend Colette.
East Cobb keeps getting better and better.....

Since Daddy is out of town, the girls walked around with me to enjoy the new backyard...

Happy 5th Birthday Railey
I have blinked my eyes and 5 years have passed. To celebrate the big 0-5, we headed to Catch Air, a bounce house here in Marietta, to celebrate with Railey's friends, old and new.
Luckily for me, Mom and Jane were there to help me with the last minute plans. With only 30 minutes of prep time, we transformed the blue room into a party room fit for a princess!
And what party room would be complete without an oversized throne. Talk about being prepared for Princess Railey!!!
She even let Poppy and Grammy have a turn. Mama...no dice.
Maysie had a blast too! We only misplaced her 3 or 4 times. After the second time we lost her, we figured out to look at the food table....this reminds me of the four year old Sara Britton Kuersteiner that we love!
Catch Air even put on a slideshow of my favorite Railey pictures....love!
And then, it was finally time for the dance party. Picture the lights out, 25 kids on a dance floor that lights up when you walk on it, and the scariest best Hello Kitty in the WORLD!
And of course, the group picture...
Little Railey didn't know what to do with all of her best friends in one place!
Just to prove that Mommy and Daddy made it to the celebration...
And finally, it was time for pizza and cupcakes!
Happy birthday to our favorite 5 year old in the world!

5th Birthday Celebrations
Once again, March snuck up on me again and little Miss Railey's 5th birthday party plans are in full swing. Party invitations have been mailed
and birthday wreaths have been hung
I already have a vision for the party favor bags....now I just need to stay off Pinterest until they are finished. Otherwise, I will find something else that is cuter but will take up too much of my time.
A local store in Marietta, lets the kids build their own birthday box. It is basically a gift registry for kids. The jury is still out on whether this is completely brilliant or completely tacky, but I decided to partake. In addition to this birthday box, Railey asked Tutu for an American Girl doll. So the day before her birthday party, Tutu is taking Railey to the American Girl store to pick out the perfect new addition to the Chanon family. We got a catalog and I gave Railey a pen and suggested that she circle the things that she would like. Big mistake.
