Goodbye Kindergarten, Hello 1st Grade

All of the parents were invited to the end of the year party for Mrs. Gunning and Mrs. Irrgang's Glowbugs.  First stop for Railey's group, water balloon toss and pass the water balloon.

Picking up pennies with their toes....that is flour in the pool.

I had to take a picture of this.  GLITTER IN THE SAND.  What a cute idea!

Precious girls!

These pictures crack me up.  The teachers started grabbing the water balloons from the coolers and tossing them to the kids.

The kids got closer

And closer

And then started catching the water balloons and throwing them back at the teachers.  I don't know who was having more fun, the kids or the teachers:)

Note to self....teach Railey to throw water balloons at the feet.

Absolute chaos

The finished product.

I can't say thank you enough to Mrs. Gunning and Mrs. Irrgang for everything over the past year!  We will miss you!

Railey's Lost Tooth

Railey's front tooth has been loose for a while now.  I kept telling her to be patient, but she just can't keep her hands off of it.  I actually should give her more credit, she tried her best and went two entire weeks without the darn thing falling out.  Until our trip to the lakehouse this past weekend.

Railey summed it up in her letter to the tooth fairy, written while wiping away tears:

Translation:

Dear Tooth Fairy,

When I was riding the jet ski (we) hit a wave my tooth popped out.  Love, Railey

Daddy was on the jet ski with Railey and Maysie and it must have been some wave, because not only did she lose her front tooth, but the other one is loose now.  She was upset because it fell into the lake and she wasn't sure that the Tooth Fairy would visit without the actual tooth under her pillow.

The tooth fairy did come and brought FIVE DOLLARS!  She must have run out of change.....

Little Lauren

The girls got to meet their newest Godsister this weekend, and they are IN LOVE with "Little Lauren."

Lucky for Lauren, Maysie was napping for most of her visit.  But she did get to visit for a few minutes and was equally enamored by the newest addition.

Welcome to the world sweet baby girl!

Life Through the Eyes of a Two Year Old

Five months later, I am finally getting around to syncing Maysie's ITouch...only to find that she has somehow taken 292 pictures.  I apologize for the picture quality, but I couldn't help but to post a few..

Railey on her ITouch, Claire on her ITouch and Ella running towards the ITouch.  Anyone else noticing a pattern here?

Her baby doll sleeping....there were about 50 of these.

Maysie and Miss Kaly

A picture of Railey and her new egg. And then the broken egg.  It only lasted for about 10 minutes.

And serious

Maysie eating some cheese dip, that's how she rolls.
