The Incident Report

It was bound to happen at some point.  To tell the truth, I really thought it would be the other way around since little Maysie has decided to channel her Aunt Ansley and go through a biting phase:)

When I went to pick up little Sara Mays from school today, I walked into her classroom and she wasn't there.  I stayed calm and when I asked one of the teachers where she was, I could tell something was up when she said "in the office."

The tabled were turned on little Maysie today and a little boy bit HER!  Maybe this could be the end of her biting phase?

The Real Celebration!

Thanks to Jolie Kimmel for capturing these pictures of Paul's birthday celebration at BamaJam!  Now I know why he would only agree to a low key party:)

Daddy's Birthday

It was a weekend of celebrations!  Paul got home from BamaJam on Saturday morning and after I begged and begged, he finally agreed that I could invite some friends over for dinner, cake and drinks.  Railey wanted to plan the night so we went to Fujihana for dinner.  We filled two Hibachi tables and everyone, including the kids, had a blast.

After dinner, we headed back to our house for cake.  Railey told me that daddy wanted a cookie cake with a princess crown on it.  Well, somewhere between dinner and our house, she started having second thoughts and decided that it would now be a Kings crown because, "Daddy is the king of our house."

My behind the scenes husband took all of the attention in stride, but welcomed the idea of Railey helping him blow out the candles...

Happy birthday AND Father's Day!  We love you so much!

Camp Robinson

For week three of Summer vacation, the Robinson family came up to Marietta to entertain the girls.  We had a few organized trips....ImagineIt and Aunt Coco's house but mostly stayed around the house.  I mean, even Garrett and I are smarter than to cart 5 kids around town.  Railey adored the Robinson girls and don't even get me started on the obsession that Maysie had over Baby Raynes. (All photo credit to Garrett...who is so much better than me at capturing the cutest moments)

Railey was quite taken with him as well...

It is just what a parent wants....to see their kids having some good, old-fashioned fun.  Happy as happy can be.

We had pooltime, movie nights, and Bella and Bailey got married....flowergirls, priests, bows in her tail and all.  Here is Bella getting ready for the big event.

I couldn't resist but to post this picture of Garrett, Sara Briton, Ansley and myself...thirty years later and we are all still friends.  Hopefully our girls will be able to say the same in 2042!

As Garrett said, these pictures pretty much sum up the week....

Maysie didn't get the memo to make a face for the picture...luckily, it didn't matter...

Downing Turns 2

I loaded up the girls to head to celebrate Downing's 2nd birthday!  The girls adore Aunt Coco and Uncle Chad and I was so excited to see what the "party planner extraordinaire" had come up with this year.  As I expected, Courtney didn't disappoint...as Downing had the cutest airplane themed party.

Maysie didn't really care about the decorations, and instead opted to park herself by the cooler the entire night.  Let's hope this phase passes before she goes to college....

Railey and Maysie had an absolute blast at the birthday celebration!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOWNING!
