Birthdays with Miss Becky

Railey had a wonderful birthday celebration at school this year...but she always seems to have a great time when all of the attention is on her:)

4th Birthday Celebration!

Four years old! Railey asked for a unicorn party, so Paul and I did our best to deliver. It was the perfect day at Chastain Horse Park! Railey was one happy girl surrounded by her favorite friends and family.

And since there is a good chance that this will be the ONLY year this happens, here is a picture of the rainbow cake I made.

Deep in the Heart of Texas

For birthday party #3, we decided to go all out and travel to Houston, TX to see Auntley, Chad and Caden. Tutu and Poppy met me in Atlanta to help with the plane ride (thank god!) and once we arrived, we were greeted by the most beautiful Spring weather. Beautiful weather = kids play outside. What a nice break:)

Then, it was on to the rodeo to see the Zac Brown Band. The kids could only come to the soundcheck but Railey was sure to "show the ropes" to her baby cousin Caden.




And of course the cowgirl and cowboy had to do some horseback riding




The next day, we relaxed after our rodeo adventure and tried to get some pictures of the ADORABLE outfits that Tutu bought for the kids.

I swore to myself that I would NEVER be the type of mom who went overboard for children's birthday parties.

At least I made it until her 4th birthday....but who could resist superimposing your daughter on a unicorn for her birthday invitation?
